Yesterday and Today
Yesterday: The Seattle radio thing ended up not happening yesterday. It may be rescheduled, I'll keep you posted.
The Book Soup Hollywood thing did happen and was a wonderful success. With no sound system, I filled the room with my powerful voice. Over 30 people came, many books were sold, Book Soup was pleased, some local Cacophonists pranked me with a threatening cell phone call in the middle of the reading, and the hot pastrami afterward at Canter's was excellent.
Tonight: Onward to Book Soup Orange County! Yes, tonight at 7 p.m. I bring Burning Man to the mall, specifically the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, to the Book Soup branch there. The full address is: Book Soup, South Coast Plaza, Suite 2400, 3333 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, CA 92626. I'm told it's toward the Macy's side of the big, big mall. I hope to see you there.
