Blogging became a technical problem while on the road because of some laptop issues, but now back in L.A. I can at last bask publically in the amazing satisfaction this last week's tour gave me.
Portland (Powell's), Seattle (University Bookstore, then Rendezvous for the afterparty video showing), Berkeley (Cody's), and then back home to L.A.(Skylight), and every appearance was a well and enthusiastically attended joy, with much interesting Burning Man conversation both before and after.
Chicken John accompanied me for the first three and read his parts with panache, and emceed the video showings in Seattle with his usual barbed energy. At Berkeley, Flash gave a dramatic recreation of some of his apperances in the book, and Kelek Stevenson and the Emmy-Award winning Anna Fitch sang their La Contessa ballad live. I am deeply grateful to all of them for helping. Thanks to all of you who showed up for coming out. I am a very happy author.
