Cyclecide!

In my book you meet Justin Atwood/Jarico Reese, and hear the story of the primitive beginnings of Pedal Camp at Burning Man, which has expanded beyond the playa and become Cyclecide Bike Rodeo, on tour across the country now, another of those inspiring tales of playalike insanity infecting the world.

Cyclecide Rodeo clown and ace wordsmith Summer Burkes is keeping a wonderful blog going about the Rodeo's roadtrip, with lots of wisdom on such topics vital to my book as living a thrifty and frugal life amidst the copious glories of capitalism by reconfiguing and reusing that which others have tossed as junk.

I am also proud to the point of tears to read that my book is in the Cyclecide tour bus "library" -- that is, the "cardboard box under the seat near the kitchen of the bus."

I hope they are enjoying it, and please patronize this most dazzling and confusing show on Earth, the greatest collection of trick bikes and broad comedy and doing so much for so long with so little that they are now capable of doing anything with nothing.
