This is Burning Man makes C-SPAN
Wow, my first nationally televised reading! Check out C-SPAN's weekend Book TV programming (aired on regular ol' C-SPAN, as far as I understand--WRONG--UPDATE--IT'S ON C-SPAN 2, NOT REGULAR OL' C-SPAN) at the ungodly (I know, just stay up all night) hour of 8 a.m eastern time, this Saturday, Dec. 11 for a complete airing of the New York City reading of This Is Burning Man I did back in October.
It was part of a joint event involving me, Reason magazine editor-in-chief Nick Gillespie, Joe Bob Briggs (author, most recently, of Profoundly Disturbing, and Joe Garden, a writer for the Onion. Thus, there's about 8-10 minutes worth of me reading from THIS IS BURNING MAN in there, plus me reading from my contribution to the recent anthology of articles from Reason, Choice: The Best of Reason, and a good amount of Burning Man chatter in the question and answer session that follows. Gillespie, Briggs, and Garden also have interesting things to say. Watch it. Keep watching. Look very closely. Don't shut your eyes.
